Agreed. It's been nice to see that people are acknowledging that it's not just the color of the wheel that matters, but also the color/application.

But on that black Z06 above, those silver wheels look perfect. I'm not a huge fan of chrome though.

For me, the color of the car plays a roll as to which color wheels. The darker the car, the lighter the wheels. The lighter the car, the darker the wheels. Some can pull off either.
I have a white convertible with black (carbon flash) accents and thing the black (carbon flash) wheels go great with it. As for the black being "lost", all depends on the lighting.

Yes, if you have black wheels I think it's important that a contrasting color for your calipers is a must.. to avoid the black hole look.
