Random Airbag Light!!
I'm wondering if anyone has had this issue and have figured out what the problem is. My airbag light randomly goes on for a few seconds up to a few weeks at a time. I've been having this problem more of less for the last few months. I've read about c5 and c6's having problems with their underseat connections and have fiddle with my 2014 C7 A6 but this last time the light is on more often than not. I had the same problem a few years ago and ended up paying $3000 + for dealer to replace both front airbags. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

The age/condition of the battery might be a good place to begin in a diagnostics process.

Check those wire terminals and make sure they're all tight.

I had the same problem in my 2006….. the problem turned out to be the driver’s seat belt tensioner. Yup, don’t know why, or the relationship, but the dealer replaced it, and the problem was solved. Just a thought.
