There are no gains with a catless Xpipe , as a matter of fact there is a small loss in TQ ....

An old subject I know, but was still relevent for me. I found an AWE on FB Marketplace recently and installed it on my '15 Z06 A8. Not much to be gained I'm sure but it does sound a bit different. A lower exhaust tone and a cleaner more crisp sound. I found this video when I was looking for X pipes. Interesting results.
Agreed , it's a pipe , that adds absolutely no power, as long as it fits and it does not leak it serves its purpose at less than 1/2the price of. BORLA
Actually several tests show the x pipe adds around 30 hp, longtube headers on a C7 really don't add that much from dyno tests I've watched.

You know that u just cant believe everything you read or see on the internet now can you ..
An x pipe alone that removes the secondary cats add absolutely ZERO horsepower , as a matter of fact , you lose a bit of low end torque .....
Headers , and a tune , using the x pipe that came with the headers or using the stock x pipe are worth 30 to 40 HP with the difference being that 30 to 40 HP is across the power band and not just concentrated in one area ....
This data is real world results, backed up by my actual findings using my car ( quarter mile time and MPH does not lie ) and the results of many others who have installed a x pipe and then installed headers ...
