Given the market condition I decided to try the EOS X pipe. Came in, and noticed the 2 piece collectors didn’t line up well. There’s tons of welding slag and some red string (?) hung up in spots, but the biggest issue is the back “x”. Photo attached. There’s a 1/8-1/4” gap internally, outside weld looks good. With some muscling I was able to get the halves together. Would you put it on?
If you were talking about splitters and sideskirts, I’d say you got what you paid for. However, having a Corsa one myself and knowing that, other than second hand at outrageous prices, Corsa and Borla no longer exist, I feel for you. Outside of having a buddy at a muffler shop that can custom bend and weld one for you, that monstrosity is your only real option. If it’s properly sealed and won’t sound like a hole in your muffler, give it a shot.
The gobment killed it because it got rid of the secondary cats. The good part about these non catted Xpipes is the secondaries are not monitored, so you don’t get check engine lights by getting rid of them.
IMHO, EOS continues to make junk... Lower cost does not justify making and selling junk. Unsuccessfully used them for stuff in the past, never again. YMMV...
I’d have no problem going with quality if there were any options out there. Support was good so they’re sending an exchange to see if I just got “unlucky” - but it doesn’t sound like it.
Agreed , to many people are overthinking this one lol lol
Not to mention its the only pipe available unless you find a used one which is like a finding a unicorn right now
Does Kook's and ARH not still make x pipes? They're more quality than Borla and Corsa imo
unless they have some stock left over, no reputable name is going to take the risk of getting caught in today’s environment by continuing to manufacture catless Xpipes.
if its fully welded on outside, removes secondary cats and fits in stock location I would. i just happened to get a awe back over a year ago but if i were looking i would either go used or something like this. for that price of $260 seems seems like worth a shot to try out.
heck i was still looking at getting their race downpipes especially since there was a positive thread about them i have been following.

Agreed , it's a pipe , that adds absolutely no power, as long as it fits and it does not leak it serves its purpose at less than 1/2the price of. BORLA
