Ok guys I think I’ve come up with a workable solution. For the rear, attach the puck and use the shorter block, for the front use the shorter block but on its side. I can now get the jack lifting points aligned with the puck attachment area, see photos. Thoughts?
First photo is how the (shorter) blocks are set in the QJ trays. I use the blue tape to mark where the blocks sit before sliding the unit under the car.
This is how the front block lines up with the puck.
Rear block & puck.

What model QJ is that? It looks shorter than a 5000.
That makes sense, given the title of this thread and the pictures you posted previously.

Given the puck alignment pictured, his measurement should be about 38". This indicates he has something other than a 5000TL, which offers a lift point spread of 37"-60".

I suspect his is, since BL-3500SLX offers a considerably shorter lift point spread of 27"-50.5".
That makes sense. The BL-5000SLX lift point spread of 29.5"-60" makes it well-suited to use with a C7. I believe the 5000TL, which isn't quite as well-suited for the C7, replaced it in QuickJack's model lineup.
l’m trying to find the roller ball casters this guy is using to modify his Quick Jack but have been unsuccessful. Anyone know their technical name and where I can find some?
Disregard……found them at good ol’ Harbor Freight. 😀👍 They are called Roller Ball Bearings.

[QUOTE=NortonCO;1606003446]I took delivery of my QuickJack after storing my fun cars for the winter, so I haven't used it on the C7Z yet. That said, have you tried rotating it, so it's perpendicular, rather than parallel, to the frame?
I space em out 28 3/4 and put the blocks against the outside of the trays. They Stay solid and u can access front and back of the car easily. Parallel to the car approach you can not get the pucks under the blocks on a 5000. Risky business.
