I'm chalking it up to low altitude aircraft interference in the departure pattern.
My C4 had a loud exhaust. Take it through the parking structure and romp on it. Alarms will sound.

My C4 did after I removed the Cat.
I think the aircraft problem was navigation aids more than noise.

Isn't that a function of the motion sensor that feels your car is being moved when it shouldn't be?

Maybe you need to stop stealing your own car?
I deactivate it when I have it on a lift as the sudden sounding of the horn can cause a person to jump at just the wrong time/position. As I mentioned in my post I also deactivate it when the car is on my trailer as the horn would be beeping through much of the trip. Towing 600 to 700 miles to reach a track it is nice to have the car sitting on the trailer quietly.
