Too many miles for me. Otherwise I'd be all over it.

Just kidding! It'll be a great car for the next owner!

It's obviously a LT1 so I'm assuming you meant 1LT

Just saying - so what is the rest of the story? Did you attempt to buy it, what kind of price do they have on the car, dealer or individual, etc.

Can’t just leave us hanging.

You guys are all awesome here - thank you so much. Here's where I'm at: drove 2 '14 Z51's w/mag and a '15 z51 without it in the same (long) day.

Z51 is must have - I do not want to mess around with coilovers on a Corvette. The Mag is awesome and preferred, but the z51 suspension feels great and I don't need comfort.

But... 2 of the cars were in bad shape (paint/door latch/1 messed up rotor/hard to get into first/glass roof sounding like.it was gonna explode). The 1 had just had 5k in work - new clutch, ac, radio and it drove amazing... but they had sold it that morning. They let me drive it in the parking lot in case the deal fell through (and because I drove 3.5 hrs!!!)

Anyway - I decided to increase my price range and I'm driving 5 hours tomorrow to see a gorgeous white/black '17 Grand Sport LT w 38k miles - asking $53,500 (but was originally listed for 52,300...). New PS All Season 4 ZPs, looks nice.

And if this doesn't work out... 2023's are selling for sticker price at some dealerships. Totally different car - I have reservations about losing the shifter - but we'll see.

Yes: things have escalated quickly

Best advice I can give, do not settle for any corvette just to get a corvette. I waited 1 1/2 years until I found the right one. Make sure whichever one you get, it checks off all the boxes. Best of luck with your search.

Um, this is not the correct thread... anyway I just bought a car. Haha.

Great advice on not settling. I don't feel like I did. 2023 c8 z51 with metallic red, white seats, and the carbon trim package (just the emblems). Love the color. Love the seats. The black border on emblems is 100% required on the red IMO. Base wheels. It was certified pre-owned with 9000 miles and I paid $69,500 - and got a good enough value on my trade in. In theory, you can get a 2024 w just z51 for $74,255, and there is allegedly one 'in transit' to a place outside Philly... but who knows if that would have worked out, if I could have gotten it, if it would have been that price when I got there, if they would have given same $ on trade-in etc. And I like metallic red better than plain black (,so hard to keep clean). I am SO HAPPY with the car.

I was originally of the "I need a stick" mindset - but that goes away after the first couple shifts in manual mode . Glad to have a much newer car, under warranty car, as well.

Tha k you everyone for your feedback - look forward talking with you all in the future!!
