No guarantees, of course, but I would try it. Cheap enough to try.

I just installed
this protector this protector
from Amazon. Fit was decent, it is slightly smaller in both directions. There is about a 1/64" all around but it isn't really noticeable. Touch is pretty much the same as before installation.

My '16 has the finger touch marks and the screen protector didn't help hide them. I use the menu **** now but I don't believe there is any way to get the marks off. I tried a fine polishing compound on them and it appears that I would have to polish the entire screen to make it shiny like the marks instead of the other way.

Thanks! Finally the answer to a question others including me have asked. Kind of suspected that.

A matt finish screen protector will have the best chance of hiding the worn spots.

I bought the ZClinko one. Had to return it. Made the touch screen do things on it's own from the screen pressure.

I don't expect it to be an issue, if it is I'll look for a matte version.

I included before and after installation pics so you can see for yourselves. Ironically, the before picture shows more imperfections and marks than I could actually see with my eyes but the two wear marks on the left of the screen were definitely more visible while in the car. They actually reflected two spots of light more because the matte finish had been worn some. You can see the after pic shows they are pretty much gone now. You have to really look for them and someone else would never notice.

As for the touch of the screen, it removes a very slight bit of sensitivity but you get used to it quickly and adapt. If you're even thinking about one, I definitely recommend it especially for the money. Easy enough to remove if you're not happy with your results. Wish the original owner would have installed one, it would have protected the screen.

Before - user marks on left side and bottom
Before - user marks on left side and small scratches

After
After - more reflective than the original matte but much cleaner and new looking

Second shot, I couldn't make those old marks and scratches show up much as I tried different angles

That looks very good.
I was lucky that when I purchased my car, the screen went out. CarMax replaced it at no charge and I applied the screen protector as soon as I got the car back.
My screen under the protector is looking brand new still.
It's been a year now since this was done, and the protector looks just as nice as day one.
Very cheap insurance.
