What is this wire pigtail?
i just purchased this 2016 Stingray Z51 and there is an open connector near the manual door release that runs up along the foot rest and then into the engine compartment. I can't trace it from there since it seems to run up under the cover near the windshield wipers. Anyone have any idea what this is? I'm assuming it was put in by the previous owner...could it be for a dash cam or something like that?

Could have been for illuminated door sills. Just a guess. Definitely doesn't look factory.

The door sill suggestion is a good one. And I agree it does not look like a factory part.

iDash gauge
Those connectors look like they are for a Banks iDash gauge. However to confirm you would need to trace the other end as it should look like an OBD2 port.
