Default inspection

just wanted some feedback from you guys. looking to purchase a Z06 out in Houston. The car is not too far from Late Model Racecraft(LMR) and Houston House of Power(HHP). Would either shop suffice to do a Pre-Purchase Inspection(PPI)? what you guys think?

I can't speak on either of these shops. I'm sure they're qualified mechanics but I would want a comprehensive report performed by a professional company that's primary services are PPI's. Just my 2cent.

LMR should have the resources and staff to do the comprehensive inspection for you - they are a well known company. You can also see if a forum member in the area of the car would take a look at the car for you - perhaps in conjunction with the PPI by a good shop. Try posting in the Southwest Regional section of the forum and ask for assistance.

Not familiar with Houston House of Power but someone in the Southwest section may have some input.

Do the leg work yourself....pay for a Carfax & get a GMVIS report from your local Chevy dealer to see some of the car's history. Go in person to inspect the car yourself, it's your money. I'm not sure that LMR is in the business of inspecting a possible purchase

I seriously doubt LMR does PPIs. Contact a few local corvette clubs and see where they recommend.
