Default Jack stand placements

Can someone tell me where to place jack stands? I hijacked these pics from a poster selling his vehicle here for illustration purposes.
IF you can circle the areas for me thanks.

I place mine on the jacking pucks, because I lift the front first by placing the jack in the center of the second crossmember and again the same way for the rear. The jacking pucks are located where the lift points are in these pictures. If you look closely, you can see them where the lift arms are under the car.

Sorry. Removing a dupe... I guess "delete" is no longer an option with the recent changes???

Using the pictures in the thread the yellow marks show where I place my jackstands.

Front:

Rear:

I have been using these locations since I purchased my first C5 back in 1997. Went through two C5s over 12 years, one C6Z over 6 years and the current C7Z for close to 9 years.

I also use those spots Bill shows. It positively captures the tops of the jack stands not giving them a chance to slip in any direction. I never felt comfortable putting them under those webbed aluminum cross hatched spots. They're all weird angles and the metal of the hollow beams doesn't seem very thick.

Interesting, I never would have thought to put them that far to the edge. I would have assumed closer to middle in the cross hatch.

Yes that is also a good idea as well. That is how i life my SUV. Just not sure my jack is even able to reach the middle cross members to lift either front or rears up in a single shot.
