I just use the little black-framed round stick-on from the parts stores. With a black car they look okay and work great... plus, price and "installation" can't be beat!
i found the Sandyeggo Aspherical Mirror to be soft focus and dim,
i considered it to be dangerous
and
due to the added weight of the "Stick On" application
the mirror never properly went to its "Memory" Position,
so i had to adjust it everytime i started the car
the Wide Angle Replacement Mirror is sharp and clear,
i defy anyone to notice the difference between it and OEM
without driving the car
AND
the "Memory" now works again.

Beyond the "soft focus and dim" thing, what else is different between the two mirrors?
Or to ask the question a different way, if the Sandyeggo mirrors were sharper focus and brighter, would there still be other differences like field of view or something else?
I have the Sandyeggo ones and they are great. I have no idea what soft focus means or dim. They are just like the OEM mirrors except they have a slight curve in them for a wider view. It takes zero time to adjust to them and they really help with the blind spot. The removal is with a monofilament line and a hair dryer. No tools are required to put them on and once on there have been no issues.
I’m debating switching to one of these mirrors. Leaning toward the Sandyeggo design due to the simplicity of installation. Would be nice to retain the heated function with the Paragon but I fear breaking something (either the motor or mirror itself) popping off the OEM mirror. Looks like the retaining clips on the back of it are just plastic and I had bad luck with breaking those clips on a similar powered mirror replacement on a Chevy Suburban.
The C7 driver's side Panoramic Door Mirror is designed with two reflective stages. Starting closest to the door and continuing outboard, there is a small but increasing amount of convex curvature. This is to provide additional view angle without causing excessive distortion. This is the primary viewing area and provides overall blind spot reduction. At a certain point outboard the amount of curvature is increased exponentially. This was done to capture as much of the surrounding view as possible. The trade-off is greater image distortion in this portion of the mirror.
The increased curvature and the and distortion i found to be unsafe.
It was easy to remove with monofilament line and throw it away.

Was this the Sandyeggo mirror?
Instead of screwing around with mirrors, if you are fine with not having the dimming mirror, why not use THIS? Why would I want a mirror when a sensor will do it better?

Great item but two issues..
*some guys don’t want to even replace the actual mirror part let alone disassemble the door to install these.
*Unless these are wider you just gave up some mirror for the turn signal.
BTW- where is there a sensor that alerts the driver of someone in the blind spot?
After driving mine and adjusting the mirrors properly I just don’t have a large blind spot. The previous owner installed a little round spot mirror on the drivers side but ignoring it there just isn’t a huge issue…To me….
