My son has a 2019 GS. He keeps it garaged at his place in Palm Bay, just outside Melbourne , FL. He's on the ocean. He gets up there every 2 weeks on average and every time he finds the interior (mostly the door panels) covered in mildew. He's got desiccant bags and Rid It mildew devices in the car but they don't help. He tells me that the a/c system's default position is to "interior recycle" which I would think would close off any vents that would allow outside air to enter. If that's true then how is air entering a car that I would have thought to be pretty much air tight. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

He has moisture problems inside the car that he needs addressed.
He needs to feel around the carpets for wet spots.
Mildew in a C7 is of course not a normal thing to have and the AC unit has nothing to do with it unless the AC drain is stopped up and condensation is leaking in the car.

I'm not a tropical climate expert with car storage but would leaving the windows cracked or open alleviate the possibility of trapping moisture?
