So every time you lose there are no repercussions or ramifications of that speeding ticket other than your time and some fines? That is some total BS.
Nope. No BS. I excercise my rights to the fullest extent. If I lose, I pay a fine. No more than I would have paid if I had just chosen to pay it in the first place. As long as I spread them out so I don't get more than 1 every 2 years, it goes to plea in abayence and there is only a fine. If I get more than 1 every 2 years that's where I have to play the game. So tell me, what other reprocussions or ramification would there be?

You have no insurance consequences for one thing? You said getting multiple speeding tickets and losing in court is only your time.

When you get a plea in abayence your insurance company never knows. The only people who can see those is the court and they will not disclose unless you violate the terms which means don't get another ticket within 1 or 2 years depending on the jursidiction. Only once have I had that happen and it was so close to the end of the previous term I simply took it to trial. That extended it out several months and I was only on the hook for the latest ticket.
Hey I'm not proud of getting tickets but the whole thing is a money generating machine for the government. So I'm going to exercise every right I have to minimize the negative effects on me.
So, I finally, got my cherry popped and got my first speeding ticket after owning a vette for 6 years, any one have any pointers in possibly fighting or should I just pony up the cash and pay the fine, then do traffic school. The cop says I was doing 90 in a 65 mile zone, so that comes out to around $360 - $380 estimated, plus $100 base fine. Any help or ifno is appreciated, thanks.
And start putting money away for your insurance premium increase at renewal time...

A plea in abayence and taking it to trial as you said in your original post are two totally different things. You take it to trial and lose it's going on your license. So what is it, how many do you lose at trial and how many do you plead out, you can't BS me both ways, I know how the system works. "I take it to trial, represent myself, and hope the cop doesn't show up. If he does I lose and the only thing it costs me is a bit of time". There is no pleas obviously in trial cases, that's why you go to trial. So what is it.
