Nope, works normally UNTIL I want to remove the nozzle, THEN I need to rotate the nozzle upside down to avoid gas dripping on the car while removing it.....

You need a new filler neck on your gas tank. Your gas tank filler neck is probably twisted.

On very rare occasions, I have had to turn the handle upside down to get it to keep pumping. But I think it was an older nozzle design. I have about 4 places that I get gas in the area where I live, and none of them require me to do this.

Yes and on my truck too! The one station I go to most of the times has this problem. When I go to other stations, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. I am not happy to have to do this.

Try not putting the nozzle in all the way.

I had to do the same procedure on my C6, less so on the C7.

Everytime! My understanding is it is common based on the shape of the canal leading to the tank.

Yep, I always have to feed the Corvette with the upside down vertical nozzle.
That's the only way she takes it, but WOW, does it ever fill quickly.

I also found this method fills the tank completely. The tank cannot be 'topped off'.

Is that a good thing with the evap system in the car? I thought we don't want to risk fuel getting into the evap canister?

I've noticed that it is pump specific and that few particular pumps have the similar effect on my other cars till it was replaced. Just avoid that particular pump and life is good.

My experience it that it all depends where I get gas. Some nozzles work with it, others don't.

The "Emergency" funnel that came with our 2017 also works well for that.

Don't know. Never needed additives so it's still in it's bag somewhere in the garage next to the paper manual. Another thing I have not found a use for is the front license plate bracket. Probably clear them out someday when I am bored.

I have never run a front license plate (since 1979). I have only been cited twice in that time.
