For your 2019 Corvette, you'll need a key fob that's compatible with the model and year. It's best to go through a dealer or a trusted locksmith to ensure compatibility. You can also check online for replacement options. If you're into cars and tech, you might find marketplace app development company useful for exploring digital solutions in the auto space.

It's in the below thread post #3 which I copied and pasted below. I don't know from your VIN but you can decide from the list. The one you listed in post #2 is the 2016-2019, coupe, automatic trans, w/ Remote Start.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-question.html

4 button TRANSMITTER W/O REMOTE START Manual 14/15 22779879 16/19 23465950
5 button TRANSMITTER W/REMOTE START Automatic 14/15 22779880 16/19 23465951
5 button TRANSMITTER W/O REMOTE START Manual Convertible 14/15 22816265 16/19 23465954
6 button TRANSMITTER W/REMOTE START Automatic Convertible 14/15 22816266 16/19 23465955
NOTE: Part numbers can change! Always verify part numbers with your dealer!!

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c7-general-discussion/4557140-key-fob-question.html

Be sure to get the one for the Coupe or the Convertible depending on what your 2019 C7 A8 is.

You'll need the following for programming the new key fob, and will need to do the long programming since you only have one of the two key fobs that are programmed in.

I would wipe both keys and start over with the long process.

I'd do that in the parking lot of the dealership, just in case something goes wrong and you can't get started afterward.
Those with more experience and talent might not bother.

Definitely. In my case, since it was paid for, I had the tech do it. Even with his experience doing it, he managed to brick the car and spent even more time doing it. Why would I even want to risk it when the seller is paying for it to be done.

If I had to DIY, I would set the appointment for say 1pm and try it at 10am. Cancel the appointment if I succeed and have them wheel it in if 8 don't.

One more question, can I buy a used key from eBay and program it to my Corvette? Or does it just have to be new?

You can ASSUMING it is the correct key. After all, when you wipe both keys, it will be assuming 2 new to the car keys. I would not want to use a used key but that's me.

A C7 has both an electronic fob for unlock/start/etc, and a mechanical key to open the trunk if the electronics can't.
Any fob with the correct part number can be paired with an appropriate Corvette, unless something is wrong.
The mechanical key for the trunk is cut to the VIN on the car, they are not interchangeable unless you are unusually lucky.

Exactly. That was my question. If I buy a used remote, without the key to open the trunk.

Tech took over an hour, so at $150 an hour, which is not the highest the labor rate can go, what do you expect?

Reading the entire thread, it sounds like the OP doesn't have the "luxury" of having a GM dealer in their country.

Exactly, I mean there is a Chevrolet dealership but they didn't bring a Corvette.

^^^^^
I suspect that the C7 keyless system is not too different from other Chevrolets. If they can program fobs for Chevys in general, I think they could do it on a 'vette.
