Looks like it was a pretty soft launch for the first couple of feet. I'd say it might have been in the 10's if it came off the line a bit harder. Easier said than done, since it may result in the tires breaking loose and a blown run.
What were the mods on this car. Awesome run. It kinda whomped on the 3.8 someone tried to hijack the thread with. I wonder why they want to do that rather than starting their own thread???? Kinda disrespectful IMO.

It likely was from him lifting off the clutch a bit before starting his launch.... So he crept first, then launched. If the beams were tripped by this (which they very well may have been), then he lost time.
Also he didn't stage shallow at all, so a few hundredths were lost there as well, but I'm sure Fran watched the videos and saw this...Nice passes though!!
Not sure of the 60' on that pass, but it sure has the mph for a 10 with even only a 1.6x...guessing he's trying to get the clutch fully engaged before the nitrous hits and that's the reason for him slipping it out slowly, as Fran is no stranger to the strip and I'm sure he realizes if he didn't roll out it could have been a 10...hopefully he'll correct me if I'm wrong.
