I have kooks coming. I've seen them in person & they look great!

I have ARH coming. I've seen them at sema as well & they look great!

I was super excited to see the Pfadt Tri Y but it sounds like they wont make it afterall.

Any others you guys want tested let me know.

With the information that is available to me through the forum at this point, it would seem:
Pfadt >>> LG >> ARH > Kooks.

Would be awesome to have all 4 tested by the same guys, on the same dyno, same conditions etc.

I am sure I am not alone with this opinion

This is a great idea Jason, it would be nice if you can get the Pfadt headers also.

are they scared not to put their headers up against the others? Just buy a set and do the testing please.

No they are absolutely not afraid of the testing. When I talked to Aaron I told him we were going to test everything & he liked the idea.

The issue is he's back ordered

Definitely get LG and PFADT... any company should specifically make these available to you if you are going to sell them.... that doesn't jive... they can get ONE set to you.. if a company thinks their product is as good or better than their competition they should be begging for a 3rd party to do something like this.

What if you were one of PFADT's customers on back order who has already paid for the product only to find out while you are still waiting on them to fill their back orders they sent a set to a vendor for a shootout just to prove their product and gain more customers.

In this case you might think a little differently

If Pfadt is like any other manufacturer on the planet they should have some pre production or blemished units laying around that could serve this purpose

+1 if you believe in your product, you get a set there no matter what. That is just plain business sense.

I wouldn't publicly say we are back-ordered.. I didn't think they were, haven't seen that mentioned anywhere... sees that all threads I saw from vendors saying "ready to ship". This is the first I heard of it.

Guys they've already confirmed they liked I was going to test the headers.

I explained we were testing every item we were going to sell & they were 1000% for it.

They just have to make sure they have a set building for us. We don't want any customers to get bumped, that wouldn't be fair at all!

I think what you are doing is a great idea.

For sure there will be pros and cons associated with each manufactures product

It will be nice to note the differences in numbers when compared with tube lengths, step designs, and diameters along with the different bends each manufacture incorporates to get the job done.

Also degree of installation difficulty and what one manufactures pipes might be in the way of as far as access to other parts needing maintenance.

Well after you do the testing then all you have to do is sell the one brand that puts the best numbers down for the price lol
