The harness bar will work with the C7 competition seats and will accommodate any height driver.
I like the idea of not cutting into the panels. Agree it will accommodate any height. Thought I read once, the harness bar should be shoulder height or 10% lower to mitigate spinal compression. Any way to get the bar up in the air some? Maybe its just the angle of the picture taken. The shoulders of the person in the seat look high in comparison to bar location.
Have you guys come up with an attachment location the 5th and 6th point yet?
I do understand unless your running a dedicated racing seat for one driver its hard to cover all the bases. Somewhat surprised Chevy did not cut a slit in their competion seat for the submarine belt(s).

We can accommodate this easily by making larger or smaller end pieces to the main bar, look closely where there are the two studs coming through with the nuts. We can machine larger end pieces to raise the bar up higher for taller drivers. And we also have locations for the 5th and 6th points as well. More pictures when those pieces come back from powder coating. As for spinal compression most if not all Sanctioning bodies require the shoulder harness to be at no more than a 20 degree angle.

Perfect, thanks for the quick reply! Look forward to seeing the pics.
I only see a 4-point harness in the pics.
Are you running the lower front anti-submarine belts over the seat base and is that legal for SCCA and NASA.
Also, in the Autocross/Roadracing section can MTI confirm the mods on the car that went a :12.7 at Roebling?
S.
I have to ask... where is this tying into? If there's no panel removal or cutting, is it just bolting into the main bulkhead?
Bolts directly to the chassis and to the rear portion of the seat rail on the stock seat.

Trying to get more pictures gathered at the moment.

We do currently have a six point setup. At the time of pictures we did not have the front submarine belt pieces back from the powder coaters. Also I started a MTI C7 build thread and all of the mods are listed in that thread.

Thanks for clearing that up - I'd love to see more pics when you get a chance. The height adjustability is a big deal for those of us keeping the stock seats.
The other bars out there essentially need the comp seats to have the correct angles.
