What is the best 7-sp time? My new C7 sure doesn't feel like a 11 sec either.
I would like to see one posted myself, I guess if someone can get close in the 60 ft time it should be close.
Today was the first time I turned my 7 SPD loose, I did 2 or 3 0-110 mph runs. Seat of the pants feels a little faster than my C5Z but not by much.
It could be because the last Vette I had was a 605 HP C6Z06.
Congrats! Awesome time, it's going to take a very talented driver to match that time with a manual car.
Not sure it's even possible with the torque management and the fact that the non Z51 A6 has better overall gearing in first than a Z51 7-speed, though I'm not trying to turn this into a debate and apologize for the hi-jack Craig.
I can't wait to track my C7. It won't be as fast as my Mustang until I get the blower on it, but if I can break into the 12's here (high altitude) that will be a great time. Ran a 12.2 in the stang here, 11.3 in Phoenix.
With a centri on the C7, I will be in the 10's all day long.
My wife and I were drooling over that red vette from the staging lanes. I was in my blue coyote mustang a few cars back. Red with the red calipers is really a great combo.

Congrats on the great timeslip
I saw you in the other lane. Grabber Blue with DR'S on it right? I was looking for a
run in the 11.45 range. We need a 45 degree day I think!

Slicks, but yes. That was me. Looks like we have another cold front coming through but the track is occupied with US Street Nationals. Hopefully we get another cold front coming in soon.
Congrats! What did you change from the last time at the track?
Ron
Thank you.
A proper burn out 6 to 7 seconds, just took my time and tried not to rush.
The air temp was 15 degrees cooler also. I was actually impressed with the 120.19 mile per hour trap speed. The best I could do on my old 2008 Z06 was 123.50
and a 1.95 60 ft.
Hey VNAMVET, would you mind sharing how you do your burn out? What gear? RPM?
I saw in another post that you held it 6-7 seconds. Also you mentioned holding the brake and mashing the gas when you leave. Is this at a dead idle?
