Congrats! Awesome time, it's going to take a very talented driver to match that time with a manual car.

What is the best 7-sp time? My new C7 sure doesn't feel like a 11 sec either.

I would like to see one posted myself, I guess if someone can get close in the 60 ft time it should be close.
Today was the first time I turned my 7 SPD loose, I did 2 or 3 0-110 mph runs. Seat of the pants feels a little faster than my C5Z but not by much.
It could be because the last Vette I had was a 605 HP C6Z06.

1.73 60 ft time is good! 11.61 at 120.17 is better. I think there is more in this car.

Snorman has been a valuable asset in my racing. Thanks Sean.

I will be in PBIR on Feb 1st for a track day.

May make the 1/8th mile Lakeland Outlaw event.
We need to play more!

11.95@119.6 by Kyle who has the fastest bone stock C6ZR1 pass as well, his is a non Z51 w/o NPP for what it's worth.

Not sure it's even possible with the torque management and the fact that the non Z51 A6 has better overall gearing in first than a Z51 7-speed, though I'm not trying to turn this into a debate and apologize for the hi-jack Craig.

The shop we met at PowerTech Performance in St. Petersburg just installed Pfadt long tube headers on a white C7 A6 last week.

I can't wait to track my C7. It won't be as fast as my Mustang until I get the blower on it, but if I can break into the 12's here (high altitude) that will be a great time. Ran a 12.2 in the stang here, 11.3 in Phoenix.

With a centri on the C7, I will be in the 10's all day long.

My wife and I were drooling over that red vette from the staging lanes. I was in my blue coyote mustang a few cars back. Red with the red calipers is really a great combo.

Congrats on the great timeslip

I saw you in the other lane. Grabber Blue with DR'S on it right? I was looking for a
run in the 11.45 range. We need a 45 degree day I think!

Thanks

Craig

Slicks, but yes. That was me. Looks like we have another cold front coming through but the track is occupied with US Street Nationals. Hopefully we get another cold front coming in soon.

Thank you.

A proper burn out 6 to 7 seconds, just took my time and tried not to rush.

The air temp was 15 degrees cooler also. I was actually impressed with the 120.19 mile per hour trap speed. The best I could do on my old 2008 Z06 was 123.50
and a 1.95 60 ft.

Both are stock.

Maybe I'll plan a trip over to Bradenton this winter.
Also, I need to start looking at some dates for us to do a rental at Orlando Speedworld.

The track has been totally replaced and resurfaced.

Ialso believe that the launch area is concrete. I am
sure that you would do very well there, my friend.

I took the interstate ( I-4 to I-75 ) the last time I went and it was just under 200 miles round trip for me.

Hey VNAMVET, would you mind sharing how you do your burn out? What gear? RPM?
I saw in another post that you held it 6-7 seconds. Also you mentioned holding the brake and mashing the gas when you leave. Is this at a dead idle?

Thanks. These are fantastic times.
