Default Procharger results

We recently installed a procharger P1sc kit on our shop c7. The only mod we did was the procharger kit and our custom tune. The install was very simple. We ran the car bone stock at the track before installing the kit, it ran a 12.3 @ 113. We then installed the procharger kit (max 7 psi boost) and tuned it on 91 pump gas. Power went from 407 Rwhp (baseline a6 car) to 542 Rwhp on our mustang dyno. I personally was impressed with the numbers for only 7 lbs of boost. We then ran the car at the track in similar air quality. The car ran a 11.2 @ 125 on stock michelin tires!. We have a host of mods waiting to be installed, including ARH headers, smaller pulley, and meth injection.

113 stock stinks... pulling timing from spark knock? That's similar to what Edmunds ran. Other are seeing 118-120.

Very impressive for supercharger kit only. It's like GM designed the car for a blower installation

i honestly didnt log that pass, but the times seem right for other c7's in the area. the DA was over 2200, as was the DA when we ran it with the supercharger

Impressive! I love that you provided actual track times in addition to dyno numbers
At 2200' DA with 91 octane the stock numbers are not surprising. That car would be flying in good air with 93 in the tank.

Nice! Mine has about 8psi and made about 590/540.
With the A&A set-up with no headers either.
My sheet says 615 but it was a spike at 6500 rpm around 590 is more fair to say. But going by how it runs with 7 psi! Then gotta give you credit for the Mustang dyno !
Nice work! Does that have the NPP?

Yes it's a npp car. Our mustang tends to be 3-4% lower then the Dynojet 224x that is down the street.

The track times are awesome for two simple reasons... (well maybe three)

1) Your Cali poor fuel quality
2) The DA
3) Stock tires!

Nice, can't wait to see more results.

Not a bad gain for the DA compared to the stock ET.

Was the car hooking up OK? Using launch/traction control?

Maybe something with the tune, launch control isnt that great anyhow, I can easily beat it rolling into the throttle if the traction isnt great. If the tires are hooking no need for the launch control with an auto anyhow

I take it not too much wheelspin by watching the vid, a 1.7 60' with the stock converter and tires isnt bad.

Be nice to get it in the 10s on the stock exhaust manifolds, wont take much, maybe some drag radials and a little more aggressive tune or a little more boost.

Nice comparison of dyno gains at the track and good rear wheel numbers for a stock auto with 91 on a mustang dyno!

Mine works, have to be in track mode, click the center button twice and 'competition mode' comes up on the display. Then hit the brakes (have to stomp on the pedal pretty hard) then floor it and it will just sit there at 1500 or so RPM until you let go of the brake pedal.

Usually what happens when the brakes are let off is the tires spin and the TC almost shuts off the car, then it gets going again. Not very useful IMO but if you cant modulate the throttle to keep the tires from spinning I guess it will keep you out of a ditch I see more use for it with a manual trans.
