My brother did mine a couple days ago. I will ask him and try and get back to you as soon as possible.

Im not to sure about this but heres the tips and tricks from my bro. End product turned out pretty good.
Fwd:I put the jack stands on the leaf spring bar to take the tension off the stock bolt, all I unbolted was the shock and the sway bar, turned the bolt so the rubber stopper went down then took a sawzall and cut the stock bolt in half below the leaf spring then removed the remaining part of the bolt out of leaf spring. You can then take a pry bar push down on the a arm enough to where you can squeeze the aftermarket lowering bolts might need a hand with the pushing down on the a arm part. I must warn you I did go through about 6 sawzall blades. LOL

I wish someone had an instructional on how to install them. I've had some lowering bolts for a while but not sure how to install them.

Your car looks great, but I'd be worried about destroying the original bolts. I could be wrong, but I don't think the stock bolts are an orderable part from GM. If you ever want or need to go back to stock, you may have some trouble.

From an aesthetic point of view I dont think I'd ever go back to stock height. Hopefully I dont have any unforeseen issues that would require me to take it back to stock height.

Should be OK unless you track the car.

you should be able to approach stock height with lowering bolts too. you dont have to only use them all the way lowered.

Man you'd be hating life around here... I think the regulations say that speed bumps must be about 11" tall...lol (ok, they are really, but they are tall enough that lowered on stock bolts is a challenge...) Either that or the paving companies just wanted to use all the asphalt mix that day...
