**UPDATE**I just found out that the high pressure fuel pump went bad. The part should be in tomorrow for replacement. My car only has 4200 miles on it but I guess it was just a bad pump to begin with. Dealership said it was the first he had seen so if anyone has this issue you know what to look at first. Thanks for all the replys! **UPDATE**
Turned on the car to run an errand and while I was backing it down my driveway the car stalled out. Figured I must have let out the clutch a little too far even though I have never once done that backing out of my driveway. Went to start it back up and it just continued to turn over with no sign of turing back on. No lights, notifications or anything else out of the ordinary. Has over half a tank of gas, Oil is fine although I noticed that it was a little overfilled by the dealership. Like I said not a bad battery or anything else that obvious. Anyone else know what it could be? I have a flat bed on the way to take it to my dealer. 2014 7MT 4200 miles vin 1653.

I've seen a problem on here where you can have 1/2 a tank of gas but still be out of gas. Something about the fuel getting over to the other fuel tank fails to happen and you can run out of gas with half a tank showing.
I wish it was that easy. 3/4 of a tank in the car now so if that was the case then I would be surprised. car will sit at the end of the driveway until tomorrow morning when its taken to the dealership. I have read nowhere else on the forum of something like this so I will keep everyone posted on what the issue ends up being.
The car will lock/unlock and it will turn on to where I can go through my infotainment screen so it recognizes my key. The weird thing to me is that there is no check engine light or any notification on the screen. I checked the spark plugs and made sure nothing was disconnected or loose from what I could physically get too but I am thinking there is a loose ground or something tripped the ECU to lock it up.
Got her picked up this afternoon. Driver treated the car as if it was his own and managed to get it up without scraping. It's off to Days Chevrolet so hopefully I will know more by tomorrow!

Let us know! I wonder if it's mechanical, or electrical/computer related.

My car did something similar. Driving down the interstate approx 80mph with the cruise on and suddenly the dash went blank and the engine stalled. When I got the car off the interstate (interesting chore on I-75 in Atlanta without power) I had power windows and power to the turn signals and nothing else. When I hit the button on the keyfobb you could hear solenoids in the car react however it wouldn't open the trunk. I had to manually open the doors and trunk. OnStar was blinking red. I checked all connections and everything looked good. My car had just been completely disassembled for 416 stroker so I blamed it on incorrectly routed cables or something along those lines. After getting it into the shop it was determined one of the fuses or fusable links at the battery had blown. There is still no known root cause and I have been beating on the car for over a month without further incident. There was no incorrect routing or connections that could be found. Now that I think about it maybe I should consider some extra fusable links........

I'd have a large bag of those things in the rear compartment too! I hate to trouble shoot and find nothing, bupcuss, zilch, nada, and the damn thing starts working. It's a miracle! It's alive! Surrrrrre. Carry spare fuses for sure. That rascal can have a relapse just to ruin your day!
Thanks for the response guys! Interesting story sgooch. I am pretty thankful that it happened backing out of the driveway and not going down 75 through atlanta!
