This method removes the hose from the PCV to AI and feeds the PCV from the sump tank instead. Jump to 13:45 in the video, then at 17:20 he runs the new hose to the PCV.
Any issues with reduced clean air flow rate using just one hose and routing it through the clean air filter cap and sump tank, then to the PCV?

I noticed this video (and change) the other day. I'm not sure exactly what he's doing (video could definitely be better). I'm installing an Elite Best E2 Catch which just using a single house from the oil cap.
this car has a different pcv layout than all of the previous generations.
there used to be one fresh air inlet to crankcase, and one crankcase outlet to the intake manfiold.
now we have all sorts of mess and the catch can manufacturers (most) are chasing their tales to address the issues.
you have oil coming from the valley plate to intake manifold on some cars
you have oil coming from the z51/z06 oil tank vent on some cars
you have oil coming from the line at the valve cover to airbox, and a check ball that sometimes sticks and rest of the time is misunderstood.

I don't think it is different...
They added a fresh air line to minimize the chance of oil pushing back out a single line in high load situations. I have not had any oil reverse out the fresh air lines like C5/C6 cars. I would consider the dual fresh lines a good move and it needs no addressing.
valley plate to intake oil is the classic pcv example and it is a lot better than before but there may be cylinder issues in some of the cars creating a lot of blowby and crankcase pressure issues. if you have that issue a catch can in this line would be a good idea. i had no issue with it but put a catch can on anyway because why not.
otherwise, the dry sump burp issue is separate, in my mind, from your typical pcv issues. on stock or NA cars it was an overfill issue which was solved when GM went to 4 quarts instead of 20 (joke) and in FI cars it appears to need a reroute to lessen the issue.
