On a 2015 z06 How do you get competive driving mode to show up on the dash?
I've done everything and it just won't show up.
Trying to get launch control to work.
Just purchased a z07 and now has 760 miles and its automatic.
Can't figure it out, starting to think it has a problem. And needs to go to a dealership.
Put the car in track mode and hit the center button twice. Don't try to hit the center button to fast. You should then get the bubble that opens in the center DIC with your 5 competitive modes.
That is competitive mode. Lauch control works in any of those five modes. You are good to go. Just make sure the steering wheel is dead center or lauch control won't engage.

Once I did that the wheel is strait and I step on the break and press the gas to the floor the car torcs up to about 2000 rpm the starts to inch forward. It's just not going up to 3500 rpm and holding in place.

Should I be able to see the words competive mode? Any were?
They call it competitive mode for non mag ride cars. All C7 corvettes have launch control. It looks as if you have a Z06 so you have mag ride since all Z06's have it standard.
Start car
Put the car in drive
Make sure steering wheel is dead center
Rotate mode selector to TRACK
Hit center button twice
Press brake pedal
Mash the throttle to the floor (do not "roll" into it)
Release brake

At Spring Mountain, they did a launch control demo of an automatic trans car. The revs held at about 2000 rpm. That appeared to be limited by the torque converter stall speed than by the launch control software (which controlled wheel spin after launch). They indicated this is proper operation.
The manual trans car had a rev flare to about 4500-5000 rpm and then settled down a couple hundred revs before launch.
