Default C7 Stingray Chrome Grill Insert

The chrome bar across the front feels (in back) as though it is two pieces snapped into place.

Can anyone tell me how the piece can be unsnapped for painting.

Thank you in advance.

To get it off away from the other part of the grill. You will have to pull off the front bumper & do it that way.

But if me & that was all I wanted to do. first sand down the piece you want to paint. Then with tape & that days paper would tape every little part around that part so no paint will go but onto that part.

Then use a primer lite sane that then paint it the color you are looking to paint it...

I was in the process of doing as you recommend when I felt the tabs behind the grill piece. I was hoping that this was a snap out piece of trim although, if so, someone would have mentioned it.

Thank you, I'll get back to doing it the way you suggest.

Not no much is that easy. I bought some C.F. roll of tape & put that on mine. Plus sured a heat gun to try & get it to stick better. So far so good on it. This roll of tape you can get at any auto zone part part store about 20.00 and you will have a ton left over to play with if you are one of those guy.
