Default Catch Can on 2016 LT1

I ran a search and saw a thread that alluded to the 2016 LT1 having a legit Evap canister similar to the Z06. Does anyone have any info regarding GM following through on this?

Thanks

I haven't seen anything that indicates the 2016 is different theanthe earlier versions in that respect. Do you have a link?

Lot's of people feel the Z06 needs a catch can, too, btw.

I installed the Elite Catch Can on my 2016 M7 C7 and it is indeed trapping oil. It works, period.

I did too. I've never bought catch can's for my LS cars but the DI has me spooked.

I don't have one on my old z06 but you can bet I have one on the new car.

On a related subject, has anyone noticed that the latest version of the Elite catch can is the exact internal construction as the ones from RX Speed? Only the paint and logos are different.

I like the UPR setup or the FSP new system.

I'm not sure which came first, though. RX has gone through some issues, and I believe a lawsuit, with copycats lately. There seem to be two different companies claiming the RX name.

The guy can talk a good story but from what he did to me in the RX monster can. I wouldn't buy nothing from them again.
