Not true. I have 375s on mine. In a 21 though.

With my 15 I can hook fine on stock tires when I feather the clutch off the line or when using Launch Control. If I slam it off the line, I just spin. I feather off the line then nail it. 1st goes by quick but second to third is really where you feel sucked back into the seat.

If you drive normally most of the time you won't have any issue with traction on OEM tires. I do agree that the wider the tire the better. Some cars look bad (to me) when the tire is too wide. If it fits in the wheel well and does not hit anything it will probably look good and perform better.

Even when you spin the tires on the C7 it is very controllable, even in Track mode.

I'm currently at 696 RWHP with an ECS Novi 1500 with no restrictor, Alky Meth kit, ARH LT's and a Manic dual disc clutch.

No, I don't regret doing the S/C, Meth, Headers, and Clutch. The car is more fun every time I drive it. If you don't want to draw too much attention, pick a quiet BOV. I have the Tial Q and it's crazy loud. My car is not a daily driver so I like it but it will have people running for cover. 25 in second is fun driving through the neighborhoods

Enjoy! I'm sure you'll love it.

From a 40 roll in 2nd or a 60 in 3rd it hooks. That's all I got.

Wheels look sic on there. Question , could you have used a 20 in the rear with that size , or did you need the 21 so it would clear control arms ? Thanks

Lets all face it. At these power levels, nothing except slicks will hook from a decent launch. The car is too light and we are stuffing all sorts of power and torque through it. But that's the fun of it. I can walk it out all day long and still smoke most of the cars on the road..lol

No needed the 21 to clear. Had to remove the brake ducts though in the rear. No biggie.
