IMO if you don't want to tune you should just not get headers. The majority of your HP increase will be from the tune, not headers.
I agree. Sometimes I wonder if the headers are even worth it unless you're going huge hp. Too many people have Z06's with a tune and pulley making way over 600whp on stock manifolds. The torque curve is fine also. The tune is worth more than the headers.

Make sure you pick someone who has tuned many C7's....and knows what he is doing. You will not regret getting your car tuned.
You going to cover his a** financially after his powertrain warranty tanks ?

what about the guy who is happy with the stock power. But wants it to sound like a monster. A chevy v8 doesn't truly sound wicked until you get headers.
I would run headers with ZERO power gains, if i could get the sound with no tune. the power is just a bonus.

You might want to look into mid length ARH with cats.
Ok so I'm about to pull the trigger on a catless X pipe. What's the final verdict for the loudest sound with NPP Borla or Corsa?
I don't think there is much difference. Both remove the 2nd set of cats and straight 3" pipes. Find a good deal and go for it! I have Corsa's and love em,

Heres the best advise i can give you.
most people will always tell you what they have. I feel like most people who bought X pipes bought corsa. Because they "see" the corsa and its without a doubt more pretty. and more people recommend it.
I went with borla because of the design. I didn't want a double X pipe design. It will smooth out the sound more. While borla will keep more deeper, rougher sound.
I think both are going to just about produce the same level of loudness tho.
I think I'll go with the Borla because I love the snap crackle pop of the NPP at WOT. Looks like prices are all over the board from $430-$550 for the same X pipe. This will give me something to do until the snow flies and I can start snowmobiling.

After testing both...
I hope to add the new Agency Power to my comparison in the coming weeks as well.
