I have a 2016 Z51 with 1300 miles on it and first thing in the morning, when backing up and turning the wheel to the left or right there is a severe front end popping from the wheels. It also occurs when going forward and making a hard left or right turn. Symptoms seems to go away once everything has warmed up and I have driven a mile or so. Is this normal?
Yes, it is normal for the steering geometry and the wide sticky tires on the car. Notice that the tires do not match in the angle of the turn when you are turning sharply. At slow speed, it makes the tires hop.
