Default Borla Atak problem....HELP!!!

I purchased a Borla Atak axle back for my 2014 non NPP corvette from a local dealer putting a car back to stock om trade in. The exhaust sounded great for a couple weeks until the other day it started making this hollow growling sound. I contacted Borla and they said if I can’t get the receipt from the original owner they wont help me.

Either some of the metal on the inside of the muffler came loose or the ceramic bushings used for the NPP flaps may be broked..

Any suggestion on what to do from here? And what this noise is?

Hi. Sorry to hear about the exhaust. We definitely stand behind our products and have a lifetime warranty for any manufacturing defects. However, the warranty only covers parts for the original owner in order to avoid replacing the same parts multiple times for multiple people. If you bought the axle-back used from a car dealership, our customer service department may be able to work something out for you if you show them your receipt or invoice from the dealership. Please email my customer service manager with your contact information, address, photo/video of our product, and your receipt/invoice. His email is ChrisB@Borla.com. Thank you!

I am having the same issue. It sounds like the baffles are blowing out and they are making a horrible rattle/drone at certain rmps/frequencies. This is my 2nd system that has done this to me. I had my tuner check the tune and everything looked fine. I have the Borla sport non npp. I have been fighting this issue for over a year. After the first issue, yall sent me a new system but it took almost 6 months to get it. They have been an issue since the first hard hit after install but after some drag runs last Saturday, the noise has become 10x worse.

I sent him an email. Honestly I have been just dealing with it because when I was sent a replacement for the first system that gave me the problems, it took like 4 months to recieve it. And these axle-back systems aren't the easiest to install. But after last weekend, the rattle has gotten so bad that something has to be done. I shouldn't have to be embarrassed to pull up to a red light because my 2000$ exhaust is rattling like crazy. Thankyou for the response. Hopefully somethjng can be done.
