Windshield washer pump troubleshooting list?
Troubleshooting checklist for "Windshield Washer Fluid Not Spraying/Squirting"?
My 2016 Z06 C7 windshield washer fluid is not pumping out. Does anyone have a quick troubleshooting checklist for "Windshield Washer Fluid Not Spraying/Squirting"? Wipers work just fine, reservoir is full of windshield wiper fluid, windshield wiper fluid does not spray (it worked just fine a few days ago).
Also, the Engine Compartment Fuse Block fuse box diagram does not show Windshield Washer Pump (motor). Could the fuse that protects the Windshield Washer Pump be somehow combined to some other system/usage circuit?
[The Engine Compartment Fuse Block fuse box diagram shows: 1 [i]Front Wiper, 34 "Headlight Washer"(?), 41 "Headlamp Washer Pump"(?), 55 Front Wiper Low/High, 57 Front Wiper Motor]
Note: The Rear Compartment Fuse Block does not seem to list any fuse system/circuit category that would seem to be even closely related to the Windshield Washer Pump.
I've already Checked:
1.) Wipers works OK; No "buzz" or sound of washer pump (motor) when washer switch pulled [thus probably electrical]
2.) No signs of fluid in engine compartment or on ground after testing with washer switch pulled [hose not disconnected]
3.) Can't find which fuse to check: fuse diagram does not list "wiper/ washer" or anything familiar - I'd like to check fuse before motor, rely, switch or wires.

I don't see a fuse associated with the washer motor. All power comes from the BCM.
I've seen the pump replacement on here and it isn't that hard and the pump is very cheap. It can get jammed up very easy with dirt and stop the impeller from turning. I'd just replace the motor as a first thing to try.

Just call me "Rookie": I just joined the Corvette Forum today (bought my 2016 Z06 recently) ... thank you for the quick response ... and for redirecting me to the C7 General Discussion! THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL!

There have been a lot of us (me included) that had a faulty pump. Its cheap and easy to replace.

It's probably the pump. My '16 did the same thing and I ended up replacing the pump. Dealer said it was back ordered until who knows when so I got one at Napa and it works fine now. Probably a 30-40 minute job to change.
