Hi Mike,

it could have been on the first try I didn’t have it clicked in all the way but I made it almost 50 miles without an issue. The CEL are cleared and I went for another ride. Some spirited driving and no issues at all until I pull into my neighborhood. No CEL but the reduced power thing. Shut it off, pop the hood and close it and back to normal. Could it be the addition on the TB and new air filter the ECM has not yet compensated for the additional air?

Hey Mike, just wanted to touch base with you on my experience with your TB and TC on my C7Z M7. I installed them late last fall, put a few miles on it and tucked it away for winter. Have put some mileage on this spring so figured it would be fair for a review. IT'S FRIGN OUTSTANDING!!!! Your products are extremely high quality, you have great customer service, and you take great pride in your buisness. Anyone looking for an upgrade should look at Soler first.
My Z performs much better off idle, revs quicker, and makes the whole driving experience that much more enjoyable. Im not looking to mod it any further and only have one of Terry's BMS filters (a must have also) installed. Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the purchase and performance your products provide.
Thanks, Bill

I've been driving around on CF7 for the last day or two. I found SP5 to be a little hotter than I expected, probably due to the fact that it's an entirely new throttle pedal now.

Anyone else notice a bit of a surging when just trying to maintain speed, say, 40mph? It may be my foot oscillating over bumps thought too!

I find SP 5 to be great when away from traffic and zipping around in twisties, but just a tad aggressive in stop and go traffic. I dropped it down to SP2 and this is working well as an all-around setting.

If you have an A&A SC and Tuned on 2014 Z51, would adding a TB and TC require a re-tune and/or how does it work with SC or is it the same?

If you go with a larger TB like our Modified LT5, then you'll need to retune. If you go with our LT1 TB, no tune is required. The TC doesn't matter in any case. Thanks.

That happens to me, too. I believe it is from involuntary foot movement which records at this sensitive setting.

What is the difference with Solar Throttle Controller vs. Vitesse Throttle Controller or why should I buy your TC vs any competitor TC?

We have a greater number of settings (response curves for you to choose from), we think it is aesthetically more in tune w/ the Corvette interior, we are behind it 100% over the phone or online ready to help, combine that with better pricing and you have value like no other we know of. Thanks.

Just get the Soler I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. If for some reason your not 100% happy Soler will refund it no questions asked. I have his TB and TC and couldn’t be happier. I’m just trying to save you time now, because you’ll just end up buying it later. Don’t just take my word on it do some searches

Mike helped install my Throttle Body (LT1) and Throttle Control last week at his shop on my z51. All I can say is it performs as he says. If you are on the fence as to which one to get, definetly recommend Soler. You notice a difference and combined with the TC... lets just say smiles.....

Hello, brother! I work for LM in Corporate, and have been a Sikorsky "fanboy" since you joined the family in 2015. I love every trip to Stratford (other than the act of getting there), and cannot wait to see the 53K in flight. If you work in Stratford, by chance, I'll have to make contact the next time I'm up there and we can drop a couple beers and talk C7's.

Hi Mike,

Great products you produce for us!

Thank You!

Question please...

What things do you modify differently between auto and manual cars?

And, what do you modify differently between models?

Thanks

.

We used to modify manuals and automatics differently a while ago, not anymore. The manuals idle at a slightly different TP% (or ~600 rpm) and the autos at ~650 rpm, so we took that into account for the point (TP%) at which the modification starts. Manual cars are also more susceptible to surging. This is how we tested our very first few samples and we did not want to deviate from that initially. As we gained data we started to feel more confident in only having a single configuration that works for both manual and automatics.

In terms, of LT1 vs. LT4, that hasn't changed, they are calibrated differently and the LT4 simply accepts more air than the LT1.

Thanks,

Mike@Soler

Mike,

Will your LT4 version Throttle Body perform improperly on a LT1 and also throw a check engine light?

The LT4 TB on an LT1 manual will be likely to cause surges, some LT1 automatics might take it (about 50/50 chance), but not recommended. Yes, CEL's are likely too. The only way around it is tuning.

Mike,
On my 2019 M7 GS I have your TB and TC (set at SP3). Been running for several months now.
I still get a stall condition when I'm backing up my slightly inclined driveway to put it away in the garage. I really havent noticed it in 1st gear takeoffs but I have killed the car a few times in reverse.
Normal? Should I try a recal (like first time installation procedures)?
Everything else has been flawless! Thanks

Cee

Thank you very much, Cee. If that is something that never happened w/ the OEM TB, please email or call. We'll get that fixed.
