Default Soler Performance Throttle Body Latest Version

Or to be exact, latest improvements. We do not change versions or part numbers as long as they are interchangeable and meet the minimum performance requirements we advertise, neither increase price for additional features that are fairly simple to manufacture.

But, some of you have been asking us lately about how our latest parts compare to the competition in some aspects. The most common question is about flow area at WOT. Here is the answer. Please note that we advertise a bare minimum of 91mm of effective flow area (5500 mm^2) for a WOT flow of at least 1100 CFM @ 20.4" H2O pressure differential. The parts we provide always exceed those numbers and they are actually closer to the numbers below and that goes well with one of our mottoes over here, underpromise and overdeliver.

In summary, throttle control is all we do and our TB's are like no other, when you buy from us you are getting the most original and best-performing throttle bodies in the market, as measured by popular vote, area, flow, thickness, response, etc. Buy with confidence, we are always ahead of the curve, improving our products, competing with ourselves, and you always get the latest and greatest at the moment. Add to that, better prices, a full range of choices, a complete package/solution, money-back and long term warranties, and we top it all off with the very best customer service you'll find.

Thank you much!

A superb product, as well as exemplary customer service.

And the throttle controller is pretty neat, too.

Absolutely, and thank you very much for your purchase. We are glad you reached out here, we have been trying to contact you through eBay to verify fitment for your car before shipping. We need to know your model year, model, and transmission (Manual/Auto).

Thanks, Fred. See area in green below, that is it, and it only works/shows at WOT. If you are into racing, it will give you that last drop you can squeeze out of this TB. Otherwise, you are fine. We can retrofit if you'd like to have it. You have the orange area (shaftless high-pressure side) unique of our parts and effective at all throttle positions, you also have everything else you see.

Hey Mike, I just placed my order this evening for the TB and TC. Car only has 150 miles on it but I'm very much looking forward to getting rid of the mushy, disconnect pedal feel. I've read up on your TB and I'm stoked to have one incoming in a few days.

I work for Lockheed (Sikorsky) in the Helicopter division so I appreciate your attention to detail and data to support your work. Well done and keep it up

Another super happy customer here. I bought the Soler TC first and was 100% amazed by it. I recently bought and installed the Soler TB and holy smokes!!!! Easily the best mods I’ve done to any car I’ve owned. Keep up the great work Mike!

Hi, olblue. Well, yes. We never stop thinking of ways to make them better. Everybody has the "meat and potatoes" of the Mod though, those have been there since day one. These are small refinements that would be hard to detect w/o instruments.

Yes, we have the LS2, LS3, LS7 TB's ready, also the Controller for all C6 (except 05's), links below:

- C6 TB (2009-2013) https://www.solerengineering.com/store/se5109-95
- C6 TB (2005-2008) https://www.solerengineering.com/sto...05-2008-ls2ls3
- C6 TC (2006-2013) https://www.solerengineering.com/store/se0839-tc

Thanks,

Yes, but only for the 5th Gen (2010-2015) Camaro SS and Z28. The 5th Gen ZL1 uses a different TB, we are working on it too. The controllers work for all models of the 5th Gen Camaros.

Got my TB and Controller installed today. 2019 A8 Z06 and wow, what a difference. What was a bit bizarre was on our first day out the car went into reduced power mode but no CEL. I was able to open/close the hood and that reset the condition. Back to WARP 9 and didn't have an issue.

The little box for the controller I hid under the carpet but it was making a little rattle I wanted to remedy. Went to move it and found the connector to the box came out. CEL on the next startup and I have yet to be able to clear it. Everything is plugged in, locked together, but I have three trouble codes for the throttle actuator. I get the display on the Soler unit so I know I don't have a dead connection. Right now I've disconnected the battery and set a timer for 15 minutes. Currently waiting to see what happens after the timer is up.

Aside from this (which I'm totally not blaming Mike for) the controller and TB are excellent. I actually stepping it down from SP5 to SP1 because it was a little too exciting off the line. I have to teach myself this new throttle pedal now!

Thanks, the white connector to the controller, when it clicks/locks, it is actually hard to get it disconnected (even on purpose). If you found it loose, please check that it does not slide out easily after reconnecting, you'd need to press on its locking tab with a flat head screwdriver to pull it out. If it slides out easily let us know and we'll send you another harness.
