Do NOT get a throttle body spacer.. doesn't do anything for ya.. gains you nothing.. those are an old-school carburetor trick and does nothing for newer fuel injected/direct-injected vehicles... it can also mess up the air flow and make things worse...
Also, do NOT get an aftermarket MAF sensor either... bad bad bad.. Aftermarket MAF sensors do not report true, correct information to the pcm... aftermarket MAF sensor calibrations fool the pcm into thinking the engine is running leaner than it really is, so when trying to tune it and adjust the fueling correctly, it will never really be right/correct, because that aftermarket MAF sensor is not reporting true/accurate info to begin with... They usually cause idle and driveability issues, and plus, the stock GM MAF sensors are good for 600/650+ hp anyway, so there is no reason at all to change it... And if you're over 600/650+ hp, you'd go with a SD tune anyway and not use a MAF...
No its a waste of money you’re better off porting your tb or getting an lt5 tb
the o/p doesnt say what vette he has but if its a z06 then you need a adapter plate for the lt5 t/b. I have the setup until I went to a 107. no real power gains but needed to mate the t/b to the snout
