Default Seat position memory

I have a 2014 stock Stingray, where the driver's seat position memory does not work anymore. When I exit, it moves the seat/steering wheel back, and does not remember where it was when I reenter. At least when I push the #1 or #2 sear buttons, nothing happens. I have tried resetting them, but with the sale results. Any ideas of what could be tried before having to take it to the dealership?

I assume you actually have the memory position set? Sometimes I have to hit the button multiple times or hold the button for it to move. Not sure why it doesn’t always work.

Yes, I have reset it many times, but afterwards, when I try to push the seat button for setting #1 or #2, nothing happens. I have held the button in for several seconds, as well just clicking it once, or twice, or even 3 times. Once again, nothing happens.

There is a limit switch on the bulkhead behind the seat that stops rearward travel. But - it also can affect seat memory recall.

Run the seat all the way back, then move forward a short amount. Set this as exit position.

Try the #1 and #2 buttons - this may have solved the problem, or reset memory positions and try again.

Depending on whether or not you are in park / brake set you may have to hold the button until the seat has traveled all the way.

Mine have been acting weird too. I just push really hard on the buttons and they work. Might work for you

Minch,

If you have to push the button "really hard" it is likely that the button's contacts are dirty or the switch is bad. Not the same issue.
