Modifying c7
Im thinking of getting a foraged small block 377 dry sump from LME. So I can save on time and won’t have to wait on pistons or parts to build my own small block. —$8500 I can send my core in to to get the price down some.
These are the add ons I’m thinking of:
-Black, p1x, helical gear set, race open bypass valve And factory style air inlet
-Upgraded balancer —$8300 for both procharger and balancer
-Cam w/ springs, pushrods, lifters, gaskets, bolts, trays, head studs. — $2600
-Low side fuel —$ 800
-Flex fuel kit — $300
-Meth —$800
-side note E85 isn’t readily available yet but there will be a pump near me soon. Will do a tune to run E50, but will be mostly running 91 and meth tune for street driving.
Would this get me to my goal but more importantly would I get there safely? How does the pricing look? I kno it depends on the shop, but what on avg what can I expect to pay for install?
