If you own your own HPTuners license and laptop I do remote tunes for E85(well not just E85). The most economical way is to buy the sensor and install it yourself. There is plenty of info and youtube videos on it. Then pay a remote tuner to tune for you. If you don't own HPTuners and don't have the ability to install the sensor yourself, then the best bet is to find a shop local to you to do it all.
I'm not trying to sell anything for HP Tuners but anyone who is paying money or modding their own C7 should purchase HP Tuners Mpvi2 and add a bung for the 02 sensor plus a gauge to be able to log tunes for themselves or the tuner. In my opinion thats the best thing you can do. Even if you don't want to learn to tune its important to learn what the tuner has done and ask questions. Tuning is an art and most don't want to mess with it but just learning what you see in the log is really important especially if you continue to have more mods done in the future. I knew nothing about tuning 5 years ago when I started modding my 16 Camaro SS and still would never tune for anyone else. I consider myself good tuner but far from a pro.

Very well said veteran!!!!! I’m in this exact boat. Tired of modding a little change and getting another 600$ tune. Wish I would have gone the hptuners route in very beginning. Still gonna do a remote tune but be saving a lot and always have device for future changes.
Or plan the mods. If you do intakes, tune, heads, tune, headers, tune, cam, tune, etc, it gets expensive. Sit down with a tuner and discuss stages. That makes the tune more worthwhile.
Definitely true,but you know as well as myself…..If your into this hobby your never done modding and wanting it faster.Every season I get used to my new power level and it’s time to upgrade!! Lol
[QUOTE=Internets_Ninja;1604305879]That is a good deal. I'm assuming you have a 2015 or 2016? Those only take 2 credits($100) instead of 4($200).[/QUOt
Yes 2 credits is correct for ECU/TCM if you change the Tank fuel pump as far as raising the pressure its 1 credit if I remember correctly.

TIP:
2017+ is 4 credits for the ECU but the FPCM is integrated into the ECU now. OR at least its programable from the ECU tune now. No need or ability to license the Fuel Pump Control Module on 2017+.
credits are effectively hptuners currency. Specific vehicles require a certain number of credits to purchase the licensing for specific modules to be tuned.
Like ninja was saying, 14-16 only required 2 credits while the 17+ requires 4 and this is for ecm tuning, more would be required if the tcm was being tuned in an auto. Hell a ZR1 requires 10 credits, at $50 a piece it adds up quick.
That is very cheap to install and tune. Probably a little too cheap for a dyno tune. Probably just a canned tune.
It is a dyno, he told me to bring it in with an eighth tank of gas so he can start the tune and not have to pull it off the dyno to drain the tank, then they put 5 gallons of e85 to finish the tune

Being that he is only adding E85 it is a very simple tune. The first file will be 90% of the way there. Then you tweak WOT on the dyno and go on with your day. I wouldn't consider that a canned tune at all.
