Hi everyone, This is my first post so please bear with me. I have a 2015 Z06 with 3,100 miles. I drive it once in awhile on nice sunny days or special occasions. Most of the time it sets on a vehicle lift in my garage, covered and connected to a trickle battery charger. My problem is the dash lights and the infotainment panel will dim down unexpectantly while driving where you can't see anything. They usually return on their own with no specific rhyme or reason some times in 15 minutes or up to an hour. It will occur during daylight or night light driving. I tried adjusting the dash light dimmer switch but it does nothing. However the windshield display always works properly and will dim or brighten when using the dash light dimmer switch. I tried rebooting the computer by disconnecting the positive battery cable. I've noticed similar issues reported on YouTube and other social media platforms. However no proposed causes or fixes have been provided. Has anyone had the same issue and determined the cause and fix? I did read an article that the same issue occurring on a 2015 Silverado and the Chevrolet dealership mechanic troubleshooting it noted that the positive & negative battery cables were defective at the end connectors both at the battery connection and at point of attachment. Any ideas??? Thanks for any assistance in this matter.
