not a stupid question. many people upgrade the lt1 to the lt4 fuel system which includes the DI injectors because of more potential.
I ask because I need to eventually do aux pump and lt4 high pressure pump. But was goin to do lt4 injectors first. I am getting a retune in a couple weeks since I got tcm unlocked and went o e pulley size smaller on procharger.
You can change just the LT4 injectors but keep an eye on the high side fuel pressure. If you try to push too far without the LT4 HPFP you will drain the rails and max out the LT1 HPFP.
LT4 injectors are designed to run 2900 psi. LT1 HPFP only operates at 2175 psi. No sense in doing the LT4 injectors without the matching HPFP in my humble opinion.
