replace eLSD with mechanical?
Has anyone found anything?
I know when Golf R/GTI guys replaced their eLSD/Haldex units with a wavetrac there were dummy plugs with resistors to keep the computer overlords happy and I was curious if there was anything out there for this platform like that?
I am sure someone with enough brain power could figure it out
I am not that someone lol

Trying to do the same

Why not pick up the phone and ask them if they have a solution to your problem , I know of at least 5 guys who are using Wavetrac so sombody has to know the answer, you think the guys that sell them might have your answer ?
If not go over to Facebook and look up C7 Quick list , these are some if the fastest C7's around and I have to believe somebody there has your answer. Also you might get the answer from the HP Tuners C7 forum, ask if the error message can be set to not report or if the ECM has a toggle that can be set to no as there are plenty of base non Z51 cars out there without E diffs .....
If I get a chance this weekend I can see if GDS2 ( GM's diagnostic software) shows a toggle as there are many toggles you can turn on and off depending on options and destination

The handful of C7's I know with a mechanical diff either have ABS issues, limp mode issue (inability to disable active handling/TC or change drive mode or they have aftermarket ABS.
I'd much rather have the phone number for that fast food restaurant you mentioned and talk to them about their setup if they work. (fwiw the last person that I talked to with a "working" setup didnt actually realize their setup did in fact... not work because they never drove with TC off and never bothered to disable it.)
Very low success rate from my anecdotal experience. The few that have a working setup are 20K dollars deep into motec.
