Cam install supporting mods
Hi guys,
I'm looking to do a cam install soon, im looking to go boost after and i will be on stock converter so not a huge cam not sure if that makes a difference.
What are all the necessary and recommended supporting mods to get for a cam? new valvetrain stuff right? new oil pump? even if its things that arent necessary but are safer to do i will do them
(Its on a base LT1 C7)

dod/afm delete, lifters, springs,pushrods,trunion kit, vvt delete with billet cover, c5r timing chain and bolt, billet valley pan, katech oil pump is a nice addition but pricey. if you keep oem pump you need to use lock out tools so its replaced in the same position to prevent oil starvation. fueling is another issue to deal with
