i am running a 20x11 with a 295 tire with minimal stretch. the problem with narrow body's, as myself and vortech found out, is the offsets of the aftermarket wheels
"normal" for the wheel supplier, perhaps. Some like such; not I. One needs to get full specs on any aftermarket wheels before purchase... always, to be sure that one is getting exactly what is desired. Your experience backs this up. Perhaps, others can benefit from this.

one was fairly apparent that he was mainly concerned with destroying ones car, not the look.
one also pointed out that he called the company (the pros) to get the correct fitment. Believe it or not some people do not know what to do with an offset or what that number means to their car which is why they are calling the company to get the correct fitment.
I suppose one could have become an expert on wheels prior to the purchase, I suppose based on your comment you do this with everything you buy. I imagine you researching how toilet paper is made and if there have been any advancements each time before you buy more. The world can learn alot from you.

You got burned by the flow formed wheels for a narrow body C7. Most wheel manufacturers out there making flow formed wheels do not have the right offset for the 11" rear wheels so they stick out.
I went down the same road when I bought my Forgestars and now they are off the car and I am running stock Z51 wheels and saving up for forged.
You need at least 76mm of offset for a 20x11 but really need more if you want to run any tire bigger than the stock 285/30-20. Otherwise, they will rub even at stock height.
The only brand I've found that does a decent offset is HRE with their flow formed set. But at $3k you are in forged wheel territory so why bother with an inferior wheel type.
stock ride height don’t matter if wheels stick out. You won’t rubber
OP, it would be helpful to some of us with Stingrays if you could tell us your exact front and rear offsets . What’s the brand?
Also, you did not say but I assume you are using stock tire size 245 front and 285 rear. I also find this confusing and would rely on the seller to be honest and knowledgeably.
