Hello I just recently joined was looking for help on how to solve this problem on my corvette. I have a 2014 stingray that is running very rough on idle.Whenever I would put it in gear and give it a little gas it would hardly get any power. It pretty much can only crawl at this point. I have gotten multiple codes such as p0113, p2228, p0106, and p0300. I have also noticed a small amount of black smoke coming out of the exhaust. So far I have only changed the maf and the map sensors but nothing has changed. Does anyone have a clue as to what’s going on?
The random misfire P0300 is a result of the other DTC's so no need to chase the ignition system...one of those 3 is your cause for a misfire…so the 8 wire "Multifunction Intake Air Sensor" was changed ??...it's more than just a MAF sensor (see below)...did you use an OEM sensor or Aftermarket ??...a $50.00 sensor won't cut it !!...can your scan tool read data PIDS such as IAT Sensor 1, BARO, and MAP sensor either voltage or inches of Mercury ??...all these sensors require electrical circuits to operate so you have a 50-50 chance of diagnosing it right...either bad sensor or an electrical issue...so if your scan tool can read these we can maybe see what is going on...if you see a "circuit high" code it usually means it's an open vs. circuit low which would be a short to ground or just a faulty sensor...what you could do is with the scan tool hooked up but engine not running write down your MAP, BARO, IAT1 after the engine sits overnight...it's ALWAYS a good idea to fill out your "about me" in your profile and even your location so we know the model year, mods, tune, A/T or M/T etc...if your near sea level your MAP and BARO should read around 29.9 inHg...IAT should be close to ambient temp when the car sits overnight.
My apologies I made this account somewhat late and was in a rush so I filled out what I could. However thank you all for the feedback. With that said I am currently in Louisiana, New Orleans. the humidity is high. I am the 5th owner of the vette that I have, and from what I know only the clutch and transmission have been replaced. The car is 100% stock, with no tunes. As of right now the scanner I have is not the best. so I am not able to get test any voltage. I did run the engine again for a bit today and got P0300, and P0107. So if its a voltage issue then the I will need to wait a few days until I can get hold of a better scanner. But when I get it I'll will check the IAT, BARO, and MAP sensors. I will attach a short video of what it sound like right now. In that video I was holding the rpm's to about 2000. At idle it will run very rough, and shut off. The video is a very poor quality, I'm just using it as an audio reference.
I do believe the sensor was aftermarket. However I was able to get hold of a better reader and I took some pictures of the codes and engine readings. with the same usual p0106/107, and 228. I was concerned if the ECU voltage was too low. could that be a problem?

I’d drive over to your local Chevy dealer and get yourself an OEM sensor and go from there.
