2017 GS Whine
Purchased back in March with 41,xxx miles. When I bought it from Ciocca, they replaced the tires(worn OEM) with the OEM Michelins, and did an oil change
I had the rear diff fluid changed and a brake fluid replaced with DOT 4 during the safety inspection by a reputable shop within the first month of owning it because it was already in for a safety inspection to begin with
Did an oil change at 30% oil life to Mobil 1 0w40 supercar. ZERO forbidden glitter.
Did my first track day in the Corvette at NJMP back in early July(the 5th actually) and had absolutely no issues with the car.
Notice one morning in the garage getting ready to head out to work that the car has picked up a whine, and is very hearable if I ride next to like a wall or a barrier with the windows down or up.
Obviously it is more noticeable with the windows down.
When does it happen you ask?
Is RPM dependent, not load dependent. It does NOT go away on clutch in and whether or not its loaded doesn't matter. It happens even while sitting still, check the video out.
No thumps or clunks, the only difference I've noticed is the gear selector on decel seems to shake a little more.
Any ideas?
