I bought a Fuel-It blue tooth module, plugged it to my DSX flex fuel sensor using the DSX wire harness and it will not work. Burger Motorsports is telling me it is not compatible to the DSX product. I know some of you are using this blue tooth mod from Fuel it. What am I doing wrong?
Thats the same one I bought. Attached is my email, there was no mention of the wrong part or fix. I ordered what their customer service chatbot told me to order.

they are FOS... i have the dsx kit and it works. i know when i ordered they had different options, and per @Internets_Ninja i needed the 50-150hZ raw... which looks like the universal one does now
So if it's same....let's check the obvious. I once tried to check mine and it wouldn't connect, unplugged it for a bit...still wouldn't, but then I noticed Bluetooth was off on my phone. Double check that
I really expected it to be a 10 minute simple solution. They didn't want it back, which surprised me. But telling me its not compatible makes it that I question buying another.

Reach out to fuel-it directly.. when I get home let me see if I still have the wrong one.
The module is super easy. On the new universal ones you have to go into the app on your phone and turn on the pass through signal to the ECU. It simply plugs inline with the flex fuel sensor. Donwnload the app and connect. We use them all of the time with the DSX flex fuel sensor.

Do you use the DSX wire harness or the Fuel it harness? I personally don't see it would matter?

Only plug in the inline part, mine came with the extra harness but isn't used. I had an issue with mine as well at first but I emailed them and got me straightened out. Works fine now.

Mine must be bad. I get P0178 code when I plug the fuel it sensor in
Or you haven't enabled the pass through feature in the app, which is required, or you won't get a signal to the ECU. It's been mentioned a couple of times in this thread already.
