Where can I find 0w-40 mobile 1 dexos (sp) oil for my 2019 GS? All the oil that I have found does not have dexos on the label. I want to stock up on oil and filters.
Internet search is your friend. Search for "Mobil 1 0W40." ESP is listed as Dexos Gen 2 and Supercar is Dexos R. Both flavors are OK. Some auto parts stores carry one or the other locally.

I found it on Amazon. They sell it in boxes of 6 quarts for about $59.
I had been getting mine from Speedway motors. 12 qts and a filter as a package.
Since then I've been using 15-50. I do very few street miles and when I do I wait till the oil temp is 150+ before I let it see any real RPM or load.
I tend to change it after every 2 or 3 events and the heavier oil is less than half the cost.
15w50 was recommended for track use prior to the switch to 0w40 supercar oil.
my on-track oil temps run in the 270–280-degree range.
I don't quite understand what you're saying Pshoe. You're using 50 weight because it was recommended in the past or because your oil temps run 270-280 range? If it's the temps, what benefit does a 50 weight oil provide that the 40 weight would not?
Here is an article explaining the generally accepted guidelines for oil viscosity.

0w40 is kind of the sweet spot for the LT1/4 all around.
And I have used it. The 15w50 was recommended by GM for track use prior to 0w40 being available.
The economics are 54$ for 10 qts of 15w50 vs 110$ for 10 qts of supercar 0w40.
With the frequency I change fluids it adds up.
When I do occasionally drive on the street it's important to get the oil fully warmed up before giving it a go.
I'm not advocating anyone do this. It's what I do.
44,000 miles and counting.
The recommendation is for all years. GM changed the recommendation. They recommend 0W-40 Mobil 1. They started recommending ESP oil but Mobil upgraded the ESP oil to Supercar oil. Now you can get 0W-40 Supercar oil.
I order from Summit. BTW the Supercar oil is available in 5-50 also if you want to go kind of halfway to 15-25. You still get the 5W for cold starts and also get all the 'Supercar' attributes which I don't think the 15-50 has. Summit shipping is free if you spend >$100 so I grab filters or cans of brake cleaner to bump my order if needed.
