^^^This. I have had 0 issues with the Range Device. It's been in my car for 2 years probably. Check the battery. 2017 Z51 A8.

I don't expect them to know every TSB. As long as they can narrow it down and find the TSB pertaining to the issue, I'm good.

I don’t have advice for OP, but as a side note, I took my 2014 in to local dealer for oil change . Forgot my range device was still plugged in. Service tech unplugged it, put his reader in, then put mine back without a word.

Same thing happened to me. I apologized for leaving it in there. He said it happens fairly often.

I purchased my Range Device directly from Range, not E-Bay, Amazon or Facebook Marketplace. Installed it 7 years ago and it stays plugged in and I have never had an issue. Some earlier versions had a battery drainage issue. My 19 GS stays connected to the maintainer whenever it is in the garage. Some of them are Chinese knock offs that will cause issues but I am not sure about the issues you are having.

Have you reached out to us regarding this? Theres too many of these in C7s and trucks/suvs for there to be an issue related to a TSB here.
If needed we'll swap it out

I did and was offered a new device but I declined. I am not blaming Range at all I was just looking to see if this happened to anyone else.
