What do you guys think? These are apparently from the General's design facility.

That doesn't necessarily mean that's what it looks like, but clearly it exists in some form.

I'm sure it is one of the many sketches in there but that looks pretty similar to a C7 in terms lights and hood.

Yea and the C7 turned out looking exactly like the Transformers one (and the one at the NCM in 2009)
(some people apparently don't grasp "concept car")

Watched Tadge on Autoline Detroit after hours from yesterday's show. Says if there is a mid engine Corvette prototype he hasn't seen it.

They also said their was no z06 in development and how did that turn out? Read on another forum from someone who somewhat knows what their talking about that gm decided to make some last minute design changes on zora after seeing the Ford gt.The z06 might be the tier1 vette for this generation, while the zora may not be apart of the corvette lineup.

Yup i would figure by now everyone would get use to the whole "we do not discuss future cars" line. He basically got a job to keep. I would keep my yap shut too if I was working on Z06's all day long.

Okay, enough! If Ray Evernham saw a photo on the wall of the new Corvette, that should be authoritative, especially now that he's on TV every week.
GM is a large corporation. Do you really believe that they don't have some sort of data security program down some dark hole in the plant? Frankly I think GM is merely "fueling the fire" with all these spy shots and what seems like unrestricted access to the design center? If they wanted to keep the next gen Corvette a secret they could do so. Like the Gummint did with the B-2 Bomber and the F-117.
I'm not sure what their motive is, other than to get free publicity from the "buff" magazines.
When Edward Snowden starts to release pictures of the next (mid-engine) Corvette, I'll start to believe it. After all, he's not under pressure to sell magazine subscriptions.
Does anyone truly care what the next Corvette is going to look like? It's likely to be 10 years before it gets to market, unless the market decides they don't like the C7 after all.
But hey, this is a forum, huh? I should;t be so critical I guess, but it's interesting to watch some of you get so excited about it.
Conversely I guess it does seem to elicit no small amount of criticism from me. I need to get a job. Soon

I just watched that episode today and took these pics thinking I would post on here... Looks like someone else noticed too!!!
Also spotted this in the background... There's been talk about the mid engine vette platform going to Cadillac also.... Looks like a similar shape in caddy form?

Nice catch on the caddy! Only they know what's going on in that dungeon of theirs, must be having some evil fun with us.

GM is smart enough not to let real future product show up on a TV. The show was very scripted and planned even though they tried to act otherwise.
Tadge says no Zora - Don't buy it. I was on a plane and a few GM engineers where talking about the frame of the mid-engne Zora. It's real and coming soon!

Pretty sure if you squint the right way at the text on the Caddy it says "FLAGSHIP".
That Vette sketch totally screams mid-engine.
After reading the press release yesterday for the Gen6 Camaro teaser, it points even more to the Vette being the mid-engine and the Camaro front engine. They made it a point to extend the ATS frame to keep a signature dash-to-axle ratio and widen the track.
All signs lead to mid-engine...
