I don't know anything about tracking cars, so I will wait until CF gets up and chime in. I will say though the GT3 seems to be a monster on the track. What year is it?
Wow. Lack of consistent smoothness. Quite a contest between the two! Turned it into a high risk race per se... the instructor(?) could have toned it down.

If I were the organization running that event, and I saw this video afterward, I'd have a very long and poignant conversation with that instructor. He was in way over his head, as was the student.
And it's clear as day the driver was a beginner. Just watch his hands on the straights. He's looking 2 feet in front of the car and no further.
I don't see that Z06 lasting long. I suspect it and a tire wall or some Armco are going to have a short conversation some point soon.
Someone like him shouldn't even iwn this car! He's literally flooring it through every corner and cutting the track where ever he can. He's lucky TC was on while he did all this crap. Not only is he immature with the title of the video, but also during the video when he yells "Suck a f*cking c*ck..." or something along the lines of that. I have no respect for this guy what so ever.
In the comments for the video, it seems he was on Hoosiers A7's and his third day ever on a track and with that aggression level. That's a disaster waiting to happen. I'm sure this will get back to the club, wonder if they do anything about it.

Student was super tense during the whole ride. He simply wasn't comfortable driving; he should have slowed it way down.
thank god for the nannies and the hoosier slicks were able to band aid all the mistakes or they would have been into a wall….instructor should never be allowed to instruct anyone….clearly it was a free for all...
Perfect reason to carry track day insurance even if you don't push your cars' limits - someone else probably will in theirs and end up taking you out with him.

This would be my main concern, and he was on track for 20 min like that, my attention span is only about 9-1/2sec

yes but still not worth it. Simply don't participate in events like these and stick to national groups like PCA and the likes….you'll also get instructors that are actual instructors and teach you things…not like this moron.
Sometimes when I run in an advanced group and it seems to be out of hand out there (e.g. too careless/aggressive, lack of enforcement, etc..) I just volunteer to run in the Intermediate group instead where point-by-passing is mandatory. Less risk, more fun for me... in the end though, the group that organizes this should be culpable in warning/enforcing/black flagging reckless drivers.
Point is, you're out there to improve driving skills, be safe and have fun at it... I couldn't care less if I let a Miata pass me. It's not a race.
